"I WAS HOPING EVERYONE HAD THROWN AWAY ALL THOSE OLD CATALOGS"

I'm an art director - sometimes we keep old catalogs. Sometimes when you thumb back through them, there are hilarious photos of people who turn out to be big celebrities, when they were rookies.
Here are some fab shots of Gisele Bundchen in a 1996 catalog. She was obviously just starting to model - had no nose job yet - didn't quite know how to pose her body - or not to do that weird thing with her mouth.

NEW YORK - DECEMBER 2010

While in New York (the city) went to see the Spiderman show on Broadway. The visual aspect of the show was way cool. Each scene had an amazing set - the school room, the neighborhood, the lab, a wedding scene. My favorite character was Arachne, the spider woman. Did she outshine Spiderman? - maybe. Unfortunately the book needs lots of work -- the show runs long and the story gets confusing. The music was not memorable. I'm glad I saw it, though. It may not be open even a full year (unless they fix the problems).
Saw Women on the Verge, musical on broadway. Liked it. Am predicting a Tony nomination for Laura Benanti. Saw Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson. Liked it. Am predicting a Tony nom for the lead actor, Benjamin Walker. Saw La Bete - a play starring David Hyde Pierce. Am predicting a Tony nom for Mark Rylance. Saw Promises, Promises again. I'm wishing PBS (or someone) would film it before it closes.

NEW YORK - DECEMBER 2010

Went to New York City earlier in December. It was colder than snot.
I did notice that most of the women wearing fur coats were old - I'm defining old as 60 plus.
I think this means only old broads think it's cool.

Miss Piggy likes this - (she would give a thumbs-up sign if she had thumbs).
